In-Depth Review of Casio G-Shock Men's Watch - GG-1000-1A5CR

A very well-built, ordinary quartz watch and especially a lower-end G-Shock could withstand a lot of these elements. The G-Shock Mud master GG1000-1A5 is another solid performer in a proud line known for durability and precision. Its shock-resistant properties also enabled us to really test out the functionality of the timepiece along with a series of backcountry trails. Needless to say, the Mud master passed with flying colors. We were also able to take advantage of the Twin Sensor technology via the embedded compass and access to temperature info literally at the push of a button. The outside bezel is marked with 360-degree hashes, allowing the user the ability to accurately interpret compass azimuths and make adjustments accordingly.

FEATURES

The tan-colored Mud master GG1000-1A5 is a dual-sensor (compass and thermometer) watch with outstanding features that totally fit the active person’s lifestyle. the G-Shock GG1000-1A5 makes the term “timepiece” seem antiquated. In the bottom-right quadrant of the watch between the three and six is a small, circular, dial, with a gear-shaped indicator within. The outside of the dial is marked with mode designators like “TMR” for the timer, “ALM” for alarm and so forth. When you hit the mode button, the gear turns its orange arrow to indicate which mode it is in. G-Shock GG1000-1A5 was a little larger in diameter than other G- Shocks but the size helps the user identify all the important information the watch relays.

FINAL REMARKS

The watch is a handsome piece, similar in function to an executive brief. It’s no wonder G-Shock has been a trusted name in the watch world for so long, worn by extreme outdoorsmen who understand both form and – especially – function are paramount characteristics for a tough timepiece that can be worn with confidence no matter what muddy situation you may find yourself enduring.
